# Toy Fight Scene Recreations This Hornburg at Helm's Deep Model Honors Lord of the Rings Using LEGO By Jason Soy | Published 2012-07-27 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hornburg-at-helms-deep References: [blog.thaeger](http://blog.thaeger.com/2012/07/25/lego-helms-deep/) & [flickr](http://www.flickr.com/photos/danielzdnl/) Devotion to J. R. R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series is unwavering, and this [LEGO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shire-set) recreation of the Hornburg at Helm's Deep is exemplary of that fact. Created by a Flickr user named Daniel Z, the impressive model accurately reconstructs the structures seen in Peter Jackson’s films using nothing more than [toy blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/willy-wonka-the-chocolate-factory-lego). The [LEGO replica](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-exhibition) is no doubt a dream for children and fans alike to own. Just think of all the adventures you could have on the thing! Daniel Z actually built the Hornburg at Helm's Deep as a promotional display for a store called Outland, located in Oslo. Unfortunately, Daniel Z also announced that this epic model will be the last of his LEGO endeavours for the time being as he’s short on time and, more importantly, building blocks. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Toy Block Models:** There is an opportunity to create a range of accurate, high-quality movie and TV show replicas using toy blocks that would be appealing to fans and collectors alike. - **Promotional Displays:** Companies can leverage the popularity of toy block models to create eye-catching promotional displays for products and events that are sure to draw attention. - **LEGO Enthusiasm:** The LEGO community is incredibly passionate and there is a demand for new and innovative ways to use toy blocks, creating opportunities for companies to tap into this market. ### Where This Applies - **Entertainment:** Movie and TV studios can partner with toy block companies to create official merchandise replicas of popular sets and scenes that fans can enjoy and collect. - **Retail:** Toy retailers can create in-store displays and promotions using toy block models to attract shoppers and increase sales. - **Tourism:** Tourist destinations and attractions can use toy block models to create interactive displays and exhibits that engage visitors and create memorable experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fantasy Series Building Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shire-set.md) - [Intricate Magical Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rivendell-set.md) - [Sci-Fi Tower-Inspired Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baraddr.md) - [Reimagined Epic Battle Dioramas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-diorama.md) - [Fandom-Honoring Building Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fandomhonoring-building-block-sets.md) - [Fantasy Movie Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harry-potter-franchise.md) - [Festive Brick Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whoville-moc.md) - [Monster-Honoring Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/godzilla-lego.md) - [Intricate Sci-Fi Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-atreides-royal-ornithopter.md)
