It does look more like a honeycomb, with honey actually in it. Created by Candra Lynn Provenzano, the Honey Bowl was created to be both lightweight and inexpensive. According to her profile on Coroflot, the Honey Bowl is fashioned out of "cardboard [honey comb](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/al-malaky-royal) and vacuum formed acetate. No glue is used in the making process allowing each material to be recycled separately." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Lightweight Dishware:** Opportunity for creating dishware that is lightweight and easy to handle. - **Inexpensive Dishware:** Opportunity to develop affordable dishware options for consumers. - **Eco-friendly Materials:** Opportunity to explore sustainable materials for dishware production. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Goods:** Innovation in lightweight and inexpensive dishware can disrupt the home goods industry. - **Packaging:** Opportunity to explore new packaging materials in the development of lightweight dishware. - **Sustainability:** Exploring eco-friendly materials for dishware can disrupt the sustainability industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Imperfect Pasta Bowl Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasta-bowl.md) - [Wildflower Honey-Holding Spoons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beemax.md) - [Creative Dipping Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-sea.md) - [Intricate Golden Bakeware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/honeycomb-loaf-pan.md) - [Edible Dog Food Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juliane-fink.md) - [Retro-Inspired Wave Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-wave-bowl.md) - [Dynamic Colored Glass Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tip-top-glass.md) - [Domed Lid Yogurt Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/go-bowl.md) - [Anamorphic Fuzzy Glowing Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alien-vases.md)
