# Mobile Desks On Wheels The Home Office Trike By IdeaMan | Published 2008-10-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-office-trike-mobile-desk-on-wheels References: [deeplymadlyliving](http://www.deeplymadlyliving.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=136#very_top) I don’t know about upward mobility, but this gadget will give you mobility around the house. Marketed by Deeply Mad Living, the [Home Office Trike](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-genius-exteriors) rolls around on three wheels, has [drawers for storage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harbor-051), and the “top flips open and unfolds into a small workstation”, according to their website. To me, this has all the makings of a perfect indoor tailgate snack station! I mean, just add a liner in one of the drawers, load in some ice along with your favorite game-time beverages, maybe even add a warmer for some pizza or brats in one of the other drawers, and you’re all set! And the bonus is that you don’t have to carry it around...just wheel it into the kitchen, load it up, and wheel it back to your “sports observation station”! I know it sounds crazy, but I’ll bet SOMEONE tries it! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 29% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Mobile Desks on Wheels:** Opportunity to create mobile workstations for flexible and on-the-go professionals. - **Indoor Tailgate Snack Stations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to design portable snack stations for home entertainment and sports viewing. - **Home Office Mobility Solutions:** Innovation potential in creating versatile and compact furniture for remote workers. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture manufacturers to incorporate mobility and functionality into their designs. - **Home Entertainment:** Opportunity for home entertainment companies to develop portable solutions for in-home snacking and beverage storage. - **Workspace Solutions:** Disruptive innovation potential for companies specializing in creating flexible and adaptable workspaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Portable Work Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/worknic.md) - [Bold Mobile Work Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omniseat-portable-productivity.md) - [Detachable Wall-Mounted Standing Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-desk-system.md) - [Saddle-Style Vehicle Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/daylodge-workspace.md) - [Ergonomic Laptop Desk Caddies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-desk-caddy.md) - [Office-Equipped Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nomadic-office.md) - [Briefcase-Compact Office Set-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-office-1.md) - [Compact Work Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dragon-tiny-homes-1.md) - [Portable Organizing Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-organizing-desk.md)
