The side table design is achieved predominantly with plywood and features a dedicated bed space in the base for small to medium-sized dogs to sleep in. The upper section of the furniture piece offers a small area for placing decor items, but also detaches to function as a lap desk when working from the couch. The 'Doze' home furniture design is the design work of Ashleigh Davies and is paired with a hypoallergenic memory foam mattress. This offers a comfortable, cozy spot for dogs to rest while also reducing strain on the joints by evenly distributing weight. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Pet-friendly Furniture:** Furniture designs with built-in features that cater to pet owners. - **Multi-functional Home Decor:** Furniture pieces that serve more than one purpose. - **Efficient Use of Space:** Designs that take into consideration the limited space in living areas. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity to create innovative furniture designs that cater to pet owners. - **Pet Retail:** Opportunity to offer furniture pieces that help pet owners take better care of their pets. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity to incorporate pet-friendly furniture designs in a way that enhances living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dog-Friendly Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agility-desk.md) - [Dual-Function Pet Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/weelywally-oslo.md) - [Demure Dog House Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-desk.md) - [Cat Bed-Equipped Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/igloo-side-table.md) - [3d-Printed Modern Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-side-table.md) - [Comfy Sofa-Inspired Pet Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sofa-pet-bed.md) - [Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hound-lounge.md) - [Posh Pet-Friendly Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nomad-juno.md) - [Multi-Use Dog Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-human-dog-bed.md)
