# Color-Accented Abodes Hseih's Family Receives a Home Makeover from Home Design Co. The accents are quite subtle, and don't overpower the home design in any way. Instead they add to it, while keeping the home quite unassuming and simple in an endearing manner. Moreover, the central space of the apartment is occupied with a [drawing board](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-curators-apartment). Considering the family has young kids, this is ideal for allowing them to release that inner creativity, instead of seeing the results of these masterpieces scribbled on the walls. Sometimes it's the small details that turn a home into an updated and chic design. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Color Accents in Home Design:** Opportunity to incorporate subtle color accents in home design to enhance the overall aesthetic without overpowering the space. - **Creativity-enhancing Spaces:** Creating dedicated spaces for artistic expression within homes, such as drawing boards or art corners, to foster creativity in children and prevent wall scribbles. - **Updated and Chic Home Designs:** Emphasizing the importance of small details in home renovations to achieve a modern and stylish aesthetic. ### Where This Applies - **Home Design and Renovation:** Opportunity for home design companies to offer services that incorporate color accents and creative spaces in their projects. - **Child-friendly Home Solutions:** Child-focused companies can develop products and solutions that promote artistic expression in homes while maintaining a clean and organized environment. - **Interior Decor and Furnishings:** Potential for interior decor businesses to offer accessories and furnishings that complement updated and chic home designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vibrant Milanese Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/milanese-apartment.md) - [90s-Inspired Vibrant Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holboro-house.md) - [Vibrantly Colored Retro Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yellow-house.md) - [Colorful Room Sanctuaries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorful-room.md) - [Lively Transformed Vibrant Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-buondelmonti.md) - [Geometric Colorful Residential Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphic-house.md) - [Playful Apartment Makeovers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment.md) - [Nostalgic 70s-Inspired Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-special-studio.md) - [Modern Family Home Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/westchester-family-home.md)
