Calderone admits that her passion for holiday decoration often causes her to "fall down the rabbit hole" searching for a way to make her vision to come to life. This year, she achieves the perfect balance of elegance and approachability, sophistication and simplicity, with her latest tablescape. Calerone's design consists of a rich, wintery palette of crimson, everest green and burnt orange, accented with [wood, brass and black ceramic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tableware-collection1). She got crafty with her materials, using fruit and leafy greens as accessories (pomegranetes and citrus) and added a touch of whimsy with rolled-up quotes and affirmations tied with a bow. It will definitely be an inspiration for last-minute [Christmas planning](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gray-malin1). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 51% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Holiday Table Settings:** Opportunity for businesses to create unique and whimsical table settings for holiday occasions. - **Elegant Decorations:** Opportunity for businesses to provide elegant and approachable holiday decorations. - **Crafty Materials:** Opportunity for businesses to offer crafty and inventive materials for holiday decorations. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Opportunity for home decor companies to create and sell holiday table settings and decorations. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planning companies to incorporate whimsical table settings into their event designs. - **Craft Supplies:** Opportunity for craft supply stores to provide a variety of materials for creative holiday decorations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Strikingly Elegant Tablescapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elegant-tablescape.md) - [Summer Tablescape Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tablescape-kits.md) - [Eye-Catching Tabletop Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tabletop-design.md) - [Stunning Nature-Inspired Tablescapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seedlip.md) - [Festive Tableware Drops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-and-gustaf-westman.md) - [Al Fresco-Inspired Tablescapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/al-fresco-set.md) - [Festive Showroom Eateries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seasons-eatings-at-ikea.md) - [Edible Holiday Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edible-holiday-decoration.md) - [Expansive Designer Home Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/athena-calderone.md)
