Hoang Minh Architects have put together a house in Hanoi for a diplomat of the area. The house is made from [reused material](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shor-house) taken from the structure that previous stood in its place, and with great care by the builders. [Terracotta tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terracotta-breath-house) line the top roof of the house, along with reused brick that looks better with age. For a diplomat, this is an ideal sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city of Hanoi.

In the center of the building is a sacred item for people to gather around during cultural gatherings and social meetings, which is custom in a Vietnamese home such as this. The Vietnamese people are quite spiritual, so having a symbolic object in the house is not out of the ordinary.
