The ‘TrackingPoint’ rifle uses a series of lasers and computer technology to fire the perfect shot. These hi-tech weapons will only fire once the rifle has been confirmed to the appropriate target. The hi-tech weapons system was developed by a Texas gun company. The rifle has many unique features including a built-in laser range finder, computer system and a WiFi transmitter. All of these features allow you to stream what you see through the scope and ensure that you make the perfect shot every time. The hi-tech weapon’s scope features a colored graphics display, the shooter locks a laser on on to their target by pushing a button near the trigger; after pulling the trigger, the gun decides when to shoot. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Laser-powered Rifles:** Developing advanced laser technology for rifles to enhance accuracy and precision. - **Smart Weapons:** Creating firearms with advanced computer systems and targeting capabilities that make shooting decisions autonomously. - **Streaming Scope Technology:** Integrating live streaming capabilities into rifle scopes to allow shooters to share their target vision in real-time. ### Who This Affects Most - **Weapon Manufacturing:** Exploring disruptive innovation opportunities to develop and produce laser-powered rifles with built-in computer systems and WiFi transmitters. - **Defense & Security:** Leveraging smart weapon technology to enhance military and law enforcement capabilities for accurate targeting and shooting decisions. - **Technology & Electronics:** Developing streaming scope technology for hunting and shooting enthusiasts to share their experiences and improve shooting accuracy. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Biometric Smart Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biometric-smart-guns.md) - [Satellite-Integrated Laser Rangefinders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-rangefinders.md) - [AI-Powered Sports Training Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-shooting-system.md) - [Realistic Archery Simulators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wonder-fitter-smart-archery-and-shooting.md) - [Paintball-Shooting Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paintcam-home-security-system.md) - [AI Threat Detection Services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zeroeyes.md) - [Laser-Controlled Military Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lasercontrolled-military-drone.md) - [Stealthy GPS Navigators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gps-navigators.md) - [Tech-Advanced Thermal Monoculars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermal-monoculars.md)
