# Furniture Pillow Fights The 'Hit It' Collection Will Have You in a Bar Fight in No Time By Meghan Young | Published 2010-09-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hit-it References: [likecool](http://www.likecool.com/Hit_it_Furniture--Furniture--Home.html) & [kailinke](http://kailinke.com/web/English/Hit_it/) Recreate your own Western saloon fight with the 'Hit It' collection. Of course, minus the bumps and bruises that may come from a real cowboy altercation. Designed by Johannes Hemann, Leslie Hildebrandt and Kai Linke, the 'Hit It' collection is a furniture-shaped pillow set perfect for children and adults alike. Consisting of a table and chairs, "they resemble Saloon furniture from western movies," according to Crib Candy. This is a perfect setup to have for Halloween, if you ask me. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Western-inspired Furniture:** Leverage nostalgia and the popularity of Western movies by creating furniture collections that resemble saloon furniture. - **Furniture for Adults and Children:** Design furniture collections that are versatile and suitable for both adults and children. - **Furniture-pillow Hybrids:** Exploit the trend of combining furniture and pillows to create unique and playful home decor items. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Explore opportunities in manufacturing furniture collections with a Western-inspired design. - **Home Decor:** Tap into the demand for versatile home decor pieces that can appeal to both adults and children. - **Event Planning and Party Supplies:** Offer furniture-pillow hybrids as part of event planning and party supplies, especially for Halloween or themed parties. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Quirky Cartoon-Like Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flash-furniture-series.md) - [Ultra-Relaxed Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-pillo.md) - [Transforming Imaginative Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kiddie-couch.md) - [Cozy Oversized Cushion Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair.md) - [Vibrant '90s-Inspired Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holloway-li.md) - [Compact Pillowy Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sander-series.md) - [Unconventional Outdoor Furniture Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-joy-furniture.md) - [Noodle-Shaped Foam Pillows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adjustable-memory-foam-pillow.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md)
