Every once in awhile someone--in this case, Lauren Wells with 'History of Shoes'--manages to take the world of fashion and the world of art and bring the two together in a way that does not include wearing a swan dress.

Rather being wearable art, 'History of Shoes' is a series of images that are meant for the wall. Turning fashion on its head is what Lauren Wells' series is all about, as well as experimenting with new ways of viewing what we think is clothing and what is art.
