Artist VanVictor has put together these [artistic posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/makeposter) that display all of the actors who have played the same historical figure in a movie. The layout is quite simplistic, but it's interesting to see all of the faces side by side to consider who suited the part best.

For example, Nelson Mandela has been played by Sydney Poitier, Morgan Freeman, Idris Elba, Dennis Haysbert and Clarke Peters. That's a lot of actors to take on such a historical role! The fun part here is deciding who played it best, and in this case my personal opinion would be Morgan Freeman. Other comparisons of actors in historical roles include Anne Boleyn, Jack the Ripper, Lord Byron, James Joyce and Truman Capote to name just a few of the 30 posters.
