It is the latest to join the [Tokyo Toilet project](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/design-changes-everything) and is built in the park. The toilet features a large light panel that creates a dynamic light pattern with the help of 7.9 billion circling lights that is made as a reference to the world's population at the point that the project took place. It is made to replace a red brick block that previously was on site and now it has a glazed back wall that closes the light panel. Ushiro hopes that the toilet will function as a [piece of public art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-sculptures) and bring attention to the wider project overall -- it includes 17 toilets by leading artists and designers in the city.
