The ergononically designed HiRise by Twelve South is quite thin, but features a sturdy design to ensure that the device will stay securely in place while docked. Angled slightly to put an iPhone or [iPad Mini](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macintosh-studio) at the optimal viewing position, the HiRise by Twelve South is a simple yet sophisticated solution for a desktop or kitchen counter to rest a device. The HiRise by Twelve South is currently available with the [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twelve-south-high-rise-pro) Lightning connector, which means that use with it is restricted to the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Ergonomic Device Docks:** Creating device docks that are ergonomically designed to provide easy access and usability while charging. - **Thin and Sturdy Design:** Developing docks with a slim profile that doesn't compromise on stability and security. - **Multi-device Compatibility:** Designing docks that can support a wide range of devices, accommodating different connectors and models. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Technology Accessories:** Opportunity for technology accessory manufacturers to create innovative device docks that blend aesthetics, functionality, and convenience. - **Home Appliances:** Potential for home appliance companies to incorporate device docks into their products, making it easier for users to charge and use their devices in different areas of the house. - **Workplace Solutions:** Room for workplace solution providers to develop customizable device docks that cater to the specific needs of different industries and work environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smartphone-Charging Laptop Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twelve-south-high-rise-pro.md) - [Minimalist Mobile Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hirise3.md) - [Floating Monitor-Mounted Tech Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/line-linestand.md) - [Haute Tubular Laptop Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookarc-flex-macbook-stand.md) - [Machined Aluminum Computer Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/satechi-slim-dock.md) - [Contemporary Magnetic Device Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magsafe-charger-stand.md) - [Mobile Device Docking Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/usbc-stand-dock.md) - [Precision-Machined Smartwatch Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dock-for-apple-watch.md) - [Artistic Wireless Charging Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twelve-south-powerpic-mod.md)
