Perfect for the sophisticated and stylish CEO or president of a flourishing company, it has an authoritative presence that has a lot to do with its phallic aesthetic. Designed by Enrico Pellizzoni, the Hipod Armchair's curvaceous look would bring a luxurious touch to home offices as well. With its cold, molded, flexible polyurethane body covered by a structural polyurethane outer shell, the Hipod Armchair does offer sturdy comfort for those who need it. Upholstered in either regular or super-soft leather, it can be further customized to have a star spoke base or a disc shaped one with an aluminum, chrome or painted finish. The swiveling Hipod Armchair also uses a gas operating mechanism for smooth height adjustment and tilt control. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Phallic Aesthetics in Design:** Exploring the use of phallic shapes in furniture design to create a unique and authoritative presence. - **Luxurious Office Seating:** Creating opulent and comfortable seating options for CEOs and executives in home and office settings. - **Customizable Furniture:** Offering customizable options for seating, such as different base types and finishes, to suit individual preferences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture and Interior Design:** Integrating phallic aesthetics and luxurious materials into furniture design for a high-end market. - **Office Furniture Manufacturing:** Developing high-quality and customizable seating options specifically designed for CEOs and executives. - **Home Office Design:** Creating stylish and comfortable seating solutions for home offices with a focus on customization and luxury. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Slickly Modern Executive Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-executive-chair.md) - [Adaptable Ergonomic Office Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-moon-chair.md) - [Simplistic Seating Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hipstool.md) - [Ergonomic Luxe Comfortable Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounge-chair-1.md) - [Curvaceous Padded Lounge Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/talk-chair.md) - [Sleek Ergonomic Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oc14.md) - [Ultra-Minimal Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sedeo-chair.md) - [Stylish Executive Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stylish-executive-chair.md) - [Gravity-Defying Office Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sihoo-doro-s300.md)
