"You're not going crazy, there's really a giant swine in my living room" is what you'll be telling guests if you had Hillhock set in your house. What's really extraordinary about Hillhock is the detail that was given to this porky seat. Hillhock comes complete with a curly tail, a wrinkled snout, hooves and taxidermy eyes. Hillhock's skin is made out of dusty pink velvet and pink satin. This would definitely be an [interesting piece of furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tom-dixon-fat-and-plump) to bring into your home. Hillhock would add a [bizarre farmhouse feel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roach-clip-side-table) to your interior decor that is nothing if not unique. Fit for a single person, the Hillhock is the perfect perch for pigging out while watching the Food Network. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 71% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pig-shaped Furniture:** The trend of unique and eccentric furniture designs that mimic animals, like the swine-like sofa, offers opportunities for innovative home decor products. - **Velvet and Satin Upholstery:** The trend of using unconventional materials like dusty pink velvet and pink satin for upholstery presents opportunities for creative and luxurious furniture designs. - **Farmhouse-inspired Decor:** The trend of incorporating farmhouse elements into interior decor, such as the Hillhock pig sculpture, creates opportunities for quirky and whimsical home furnishings. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The furniture manufacturing industry can explore new designs and materials to meet the demand for unique and eccentric furniture pieces, like the pig-shaped couch. - **Textile Industry:** The textile industry can tap into the trend of using unconventional materials, like dusty pink velvet and pink satin, for upholstery to cater to the demand for creative and luxurious furniture designs. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can leverage the trend of farmhouse-inspired decor and offer unique and whimsical furnishings, like the Hillhock pig sculpture, to enhance the farmhouse aesthetic in homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cozy Oversized Cushion Armchairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo-lounge-chair.md) - [Enveloping Sofa Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perron-pillo.md) - [Durable Animal-Shaped Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metal-cow-accent-table.md) - [Ultra-Relaxed Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/knoll-perron-pillo.md) - [Anatomical Lounge Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/himalaya-pelvis-chair.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Smart Bulbous Seating Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buffo.md) - [Plush Sculptural Lounge Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rokko.md) - [Organically Shaped Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/repose-sofa.md)
