Footwear brand Birkenstock launches the Highwood installation, which is a multisensory experience at London creative residency space [Birkenstock Studio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birkenfields). Visitors can connect with the artform and they are encouraged to [reconnect with nature](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reconnect-with-nature). Spatial designer David Curtis-Rung works with sound artist Justin Wiggan and Berlin-based company H.A.N.D.HIFI to create Highwood.

It features a range of sculptural artwork, plants, and a soundscape experience that creates a calming ambiance. The creatives all have a background that explores nature through their respective practices. Additionally, the exhibition simultaneously opens with the launch of the brand's Highwood [FW24](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/future-heritage) collection comprised of closed boots and shoes. The installation aims to bring attention to the discrete benefits of the capsule be bridging footwear design to the connection with nature.
