The water bottle features a 20 ounce design that will hold ample liquid within and features a squeezable aesthetic that will push H20 upwards into the [built-in drinking reservoir](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dockstream-2-smart-fountain). This will allow pets to drink without mess and more often to make it ideal for long car rides or hikes. The Highwave 'AutoDogMug' will automatically suck unused water back into the bottle to prevent unnecessary waste when out of the house. This will allow pet owners to provide the exact amount of hydration their pet requires and prevent unnecessary waste. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Squeezable Canine Water Bottles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop an eco-friendly version of the AutoDogMug that uses reusable or biodegradable materials. - **Portable Pet Hydration Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a smart water bottle for pets that monitors their hydration levels and sends alerts to pet owners. - **Convenient Travel Accessories for Pets:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design a multi-functional travel bottle that combines water storage, food storage, and waste disposal for pets. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Pet Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a line of high-tech pet products that enhance the overall well-being and convenience for pet owners. - **Outdoor Recreation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce innovative outdoor gear and accessories that cater to the needs of pet owners and their furry companions. - **Sustainable Packaging:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create eco-friendly packaging solutions for pet-related products that minimize waste and environmental impact. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet-Friendly Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asobu-buddy-bottle.md) - [Filtered Water Pet Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-chonk-lil-gulp.md) - [Pump-Integrated Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-bottle.md) - [Heat-Preventing Pet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petsmart1.md) - [Dog-Targeted Hydration Packs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drinks-for-dog-health.md) - [Lickable Hydration Gels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/h2go.md) - [Self-Monitoring Pet Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/always-full-pet-water-bowl.md) - [Smart Pet-Focused Fountains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enabot.md) - [Refined Feline Water Dispensers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-water-dispenser-concept.md)
