# Modern High-Ceiling Apartments 2B.group Renovates This Space to Extract Its Design Potential By Kalin Ned | Published 2018-08-08 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highceiling-apartment References: [design-milk](https://design-milk.com/a-former-equipment-room-is-converted-into-a-penthouse-apartment-in-kiev/) & [2bua](http://www.2bua.com/) A high-ceiling apartment in Kiev, Ukraine is refurbished to take advantage of its good layout. The overhaul of the P.26 Apartment is headed by architectural studio 2B.group who harnesses a polished contemporary industrial aesthetic for the interior. The ceiling reaches approximately 20 feet in height and due to its favorable positioning, the apartment boasts 180-degree views of the surrounding city. 2B.group embraces these features and looks for ways to optimize and accentuate their impact. As a result, the high-ceiling apartment is basked in natural light thanks to the strategic layout arrangement. The public spaces are concentrated "along the exterior with its window-filled walls," while the master bedroom is accessed "through a sloped wall of framed windows."
