One has learned to expect anything from high fashion photoshoots and the documentation of Han Kjøbenhavn's Spring/Summer 2019 collection is no exception. Set on an industrial backdrop, which was also the setting for the capsule's debut during Copenhagen Fashion Week, the aesthetic hints at a hidden dystopia.

Han Kjøbenhavn's artistic approach for this range of ensembles is rooted in the [relationship between humans and technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hh118389225-4). In an interview with [Hypebeast](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chapter-three-texture-movement), founder of the label — Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen, shares that the narrative of the Spring/Summer 2019 collection is “a comment on how society is today and how society was when [he] grew up, from the Danish suburbs where [he's] from.”

Not many high fashion photoshoots can successfully translate the intended expressive qualities of a ready-to-wear range. However, this lookbook by Paul Jeong definitely pays tribute to Han Kjøbenhavn's vision.
