# Minimalist Metal Laptops The HIDE Laptop by Youri Hong Conceals All Ports When Closed By Francis Tiangson | Published 2011-01-08 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hide-laptop References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2011/01/06/a-laptop-so-minimal-it-hides/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:) The HIDE laptop takes minimalist aesthetics to the extreme. Playing off of the [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/macbook-folio) [MacBook Pro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-macbook-pro-concept) line, Youri Hong has designed this new model that hides all of the ports leaving what looks like one [solid block of aluminum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuxedo-infinitybook-pro-14). The design is sleek and sexy and, by the looks of it, really thin. The only features that take away from the solid block are the small hinge and the indentation to lift the cover.
