Positioned amidst the action in the house, the Hidden Table by Andre Gouveia serves up that [wide and welcoming surface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table) for supporting a range of projects. Most importantly, this piece is equipped with a way to accommodate the [constant rearrangement](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-transformation-table). Computers, books, crafts, puzzles, placemats, dishes and cutlery all find themselves on a dining table like this at one time or another throughout the day or week. Cleverly, the Hidden Table by Andre Gouveia incorporates a pair of [concealed drawers at both ends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taarof-table), deep enough to store all of these items when one activity trumps the others. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.5/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multifunctional Workspaces:** The trend of incorporating hidden storage surfaces in furniture allows for versatile and efficient use of space in homes and offices. - **Space Optimization:** The use of concealed drawers in furniture enables users to maximize storage capacity and keep their living or working areas clutter-free. - **Adaptive Furniture Design:** The emergence of furniture designs like the Hidden Table by Andre Gouveia showcases the importance of adaptability and customization in improving everyday functionality. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can explore the integration of hidden storage solutions to meet the growing demand for versatile and space-saving furniture pieces. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can leverage the trend of secret storage surfaces to create functional and visually appealing spaces that cater to the changing needs of clients. - **Home Office Solutions:** Companies specializing in home office solutions can capitalize on the need for adaptable workspaces by offering furniture designs that combine aesthetics with practicality. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Subtly Smart Dining Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/etto-table.md) - [Industrial Shapeshifting Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jointable.md) - [Folding Multifunctional Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ignite-desk.md) - [Spinning Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-spinning-coffee-table.md) - [Versatile Sideboard Desk Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hideaway-swing-desk.md) - [Minimalist Book Storage Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-coffee-table.md) - [Wall-Mounted Two-Legged Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instable-side-table.md) - [Discreet Compartment Modern Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taarof-table.md) - [Bookshelf-Incorporated Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/overlap-table.md)
