# Pan-Handle Implements The Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set Integrates Handy Tools into Its Design By Amelia Roblin | Published 2014-02-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hicooking-frying-pan-set References: [francescgasch](http://www.francescgasch.com/castey-hi-cooking) The Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set is undoubtedly clever, but it serves up even more convenience than you might recognize at first glance. What we have here is the design of a modern skillet with a handle to which various culinary utensils can be attached. Francesc Gasch proposes molding grooves into the handgrip of the stovetop saucepan so that specially designed implements can be snapped in. As a few of the most commonly used tools, a stirring spoon, tongs and a spatula/flipper were chosen to be the interchangeable add-ons. When you store the pans, you can leave these utensils attached and at-hand for convenient food preparation later. Additionally, the Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set keeps you from having to put dirty implements down onto your clean countertop while you cook. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 47% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multi-functional Cookware:** The integration of multiple cooking utensils into the design of the Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set creates opportunities for multi-functional cookware designs. - **Modular Kitchen Tools:** The design of interchangeable utensils that snap into the grooves of the pan handle could lead to increased demand for modular kitchen tools. - **Hygienic Cooking:** The Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set addresses the problem of dirty kitchen tools and potentially inspires innovation in other products that promote hygienic cooking. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Cookware:** The Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set disrupts the way cookware is designed, leading others in the industry to innovate and create multi-functional, modular products. - **Kitchen Tools and Gadgets:** The concept of interchangeable utensils that snap into the grooves of the pan handle creates opportunities for the kitchen tools industry to innovate with modular designs. - **Home and Kitchen Appliances:** Hygienic cooking is a growing trend and the Hi-Cooking Frying Pan Set could motivate innovation in home and kitchen appliances that promote cleaner, more efficient cooking. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Multi-Functional Cook Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/this-cooking-appliance.md) - [Stackable Cookware Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stackable-cookware.md) - [Hybrid Design Kitchen Cookware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hybrid-frying-pan.md) - [Multi-Zone Geometric Frying Pans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ilean-pan.md) - [Eight-in-One Kitchen Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchyhub.md) - [Interchangeable All-in-One Cutlery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinchy-cutlery.md) - [Contoured Sausage-Only Cooking Pans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sausage-fry-pan.md) - [Chic Non-Stick Pans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/everything-pan.md) - [AI Smart Cooking Pan](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-smart-cooking-pan.md)
