The hi-tech platform bed is without a doubt made for modern homes. Low, flat and lined with LEDs, it has a futuristic look that would make it fit into the 'TRON: Legacy' movie with ease. Of course, this illuminated perimeter does more than add to the hi-tech platform bed's look. It is also is quite practical. No one would fear stubbing their toe with this sleeper in their bedroom.

Designed by Tosh Furniture, the hi-tech platform bed seamlessly blends the [headboard and bed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-purifying-headboard) in a way that is both [sleek and stylish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedroom-furniture). The sloping board also allows people better prop themselves up comfortably when reading, watching television or simply indulging in a late night conversation with a loved one.
