Scottish architecture studio [Loader Monteith](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cairnconon-byre-house) is the mind behind the new office design created for mountain bike tour company H&I Adventures. It is defined by its mono-pitched roof detail and joining this office are two private residences -- all of which are found on a sloped brownfield site in Scotland within Inverness.

The building is two stories and has a steeped roof with [charred timber cladding](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palo-quemado) outside with [black metal detailing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-in-hashima) to complement it. Matt Loader, director of the studio told Dezeen, "A large part of the material selection was driven by the clients and their desire for a striking visibility of their work premises. We wanted to apply a rigour to the cladding on both houses and the office. This has led to a number of different board widths and depths being used."
