# Framed Hexagon Vases Wooda Home's Unique Wooden Vases Double as Wall-Mounted Art By Ell Smith | Published 2017-06-12 | Eco Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hexagon-vases References: [contemporist](http://www.contemporist.com/wall-mounted-vases-double-as-art/) & [etsy](https://www.etsy.com/people/shatsa) Wooda Home designed elegant and delicate [hexagon vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hexagon-board-game-trays) which, when mounted on the wall, double as artwork. Each piece is made from poplar wood and uses magnets to fasten slender, [tubular vases onto its base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torre-vases), ensuring that the changing of the plants is easy. The [wall mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/justin-case) come in a variety of different designs, featuring abstract collaborations with acrylic and ink, or boldly colorful shapes that contrast the frame's hexagonal form. One popular design uses acrylic paint to mimic palm leaves, while another uses blue and pink paints to excite and distract the eyes. The wooded frames are available with different finishes, ranging from light to dark. Minimalist designs are also available, which use the natural finish of the wood and add a lightly colored acrylic frame so the flower becomes the center of the piece. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Multi-purpose Home Decor:** Offering home decor that serves more than one purpose can be a disruptive innovation opportunity. - **Combining Materials:** Combining materials, such as wood and acrylic, can create unique and eye-catching designs that stand out in the home decor industry. - **Easy-to-change Decor:** Providing home decor that is easy to change, such as Wooda Home's hexagon vases, can be a disruptive innovation opportunity for the home decor industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can benefit from offering functional decor like Wooda Home's hexagon vases. - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can add these hexagon vases as a complementary piece to their current offerings. - **Crafts:** Craft companies can use Wooda Home's design as inspiration for creating multi-purpose home decor items. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Vertical Honeycomb Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-art-storage-system.md) - [Greenery-Inspired Textured Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leaf-textured-ceramic-vase.md) - [Miniature Cylindrical Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hanakubari.md) - [Jewelry-Holding Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-vase-stand.md) - [Connection-Inspired X-Shaped Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaax.md) - [Multifunctional Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iza-vase.md) - [Vibrant Dynamic Wall Plant-Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floos.md) - [Nature-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-power-moss-wall-art.md)
