# Attachable Honeycomb Snack Trays These Hexagon Plates are a Quirky Way to Serve Guests at a Party By Nicole Ballantyne-Choo | Published 2013-09-15 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hexagon-plates References: [fancy](http://fancy.com/things/445338191830982141/Hexagon-Plate) & [mollaspace](http://www.mollaspace.com/shop/hexagon-plate.html) The next time you host another fabulous soirée at your house, use the hexagon plates to hold your snacks. The fun aspect of this tray comes with your own personal creativity. While the plates are separate, they're also attachable so you can create neat [geometric figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airhive) to add fun character. For example, if you're having a smaller gathering, just use three and attach them to form a cute circle. However, if you're the queen of parties, attaching a bunch in a long line is a great way for everyone to have easy access to all the yummy [snacks at once](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hormel-gatherings-bold-and-spicy-tray). When you're not using them for a party, use them to neatly store [office supplies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tray210) like paperclips and staples. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 23% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Attachable Hexagon Plates:** Opportunity for businesses to innovate by creating unique attachable plates for parties and events. - **Creative Snack Serving:** Opportunity for businesses to design creative trays and serving solutions for parties and gatherings. - **Multi-functional Servingware:** Opportunity for businesses to develop versatile servingware that can be used for both parties and everyday use. ### Who This Affects Most - **Party Supplies:** Opportunity for businesses in the party supplies industry to incorporate attachable hexagon plates into their product offerings. - **Design and Home Decor:** Opportunity for businesses in the design and home decor industry to create innovative and stylish serving solutions for parties. - **Office Supplies:** Opportunity for businesses in the office supplies industry to promote the use of attachable hexagon plates for organization and storage purposes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elegant Snack Platter Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hors-doeuvres-set.md) - [Stackable Rotating Snack Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tapas-snack-sphere.md) - [Cup-Integrated Plates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pairingware.md) - [Multifunctional Serving Boards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convertible-serving-board-trio.md) - [Unique Upcycled Serving Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recycled-wine-bottle-appetizer-tray.md) - [Artsy Serving Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoresin-accented-cheese-and-charcuterie-serving-boards.md) - [Modular Airline Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/system-tray.md) - [Multi-Use Pet Feeding Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trot-pets.md) - [Adorable Bee-Inspired Candlesticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beeinspired-candlesticks.md)
