# Right-Angled Mirrors The Hex Corner Mirror Fits into Perpendicular Spaces By Joey Haar | Published 2016-10-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hex-corner-mirror References: [betterlivingthroughdesign](http://www.betterlivingthroughdesign.com/accessories/hex-corner-mirror/) & [shop.gessato](https://shop.gessato.com/hex-corner-mirror-copper.html) The Hex Corner Mirror is an interesting [interior design element](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-interior-accents) for people who want to see their homes from a new perspective. The [geometrical mirror bends in the middle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zigzag-collection) at a right angle, encouraging consumers to place it in the corner where two walls meet. In the same way that a surveillance mirror at a retail store can provide new and distorted views of the space it reflects, the Hex Corner Mirror is virtually guaranteed to reflect and re-reflect consumers' spaces. As much as the shape and design of the Hex Corner Mirror are pleasing in their own right, people staring at it will also tend to get lost in examining how the piece distorts and changes the space around them. The Hex Corner Mirror is available in classic silver or with a [copper finish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/through-chrome-reflections). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Geometric Mirrors:** Manufacturing and marketing geometric-shaped mirrors to create a new perspective in interior design. - **Distortion Reflective Surfaces:** Creating highly reflective and distorted surfaces for retail and domestic environments. - **Corner-fitted Home Accessories:** Designing and producing home accessories specifically for corner placements. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate geometric mirrors to create a unique perspective in their designs. - **Retail:** Retail shops can use highly reflective, distorted mirrors to create a funhouse effect and entice customers into their store. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can produce corner-fitted mirrors to provide new and diverse options for homeowners looking to decorate odd-shaped spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometrical Golden Ratio Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ascension-wall-mirror.md) - [Dynamic Structural Mirror Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bton-brut.md) - [Wavy Dual-Action Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archvyli.md) - [Two-Sided Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corner-clock.md) - [Colorful Retro Pixel Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-mirror.md) - [Curvaceous Shelf-Paired Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wave-mirror.md) - [Artful Hanging Contemporary Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ready-to-hang.md) - [Stunningly Bold Mirror Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bold-mirror.md) - [Illusory Doorway Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panis-mirror.md)
