The office is located in an urban residential area in which many older buildings are being torn down and replaced, although traces of these buildings remain, and function as the inspiration for the Herschel Supply office. The design of the office itself was created with the goal of representing deconstruction, as well as the balance between public and private. As a result, this [contemporary industrial office space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mislad) features a large open concept area, as well as private structures within the office that house meeting rooms and collaborative working or lounging spaces. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Contemporary Industrial Office Spaces:** Opportunity exists to transform traditional office spaces into modern, open-concept environments that promote collaboration and creativity. - **Deconstruction-inspired Design:** Incorporating elements of deconstruction into office design can add a unique aesthetic and foster a sense of innovation and creativity. - **Balance Between Public and Private Spaces:** Designing office spaces with a balance between open areas for collaboration and private structures for focused work can enhance productivity and employee satisfaction. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can provide innovative solutions for creating contemporary industrial office spaces that are both functional and visually appealing. - **Architecture:** Architects can explore deconstruction-inspired designs to create unique and inspiring office spaces that reflect the surrounding environment and promote creativity. - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Manufacturers of office furniture can tap into the trend of balance between public and private spaces, offering innovative solutions for adaptable and multi-functional office furnishings. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modern Heritage Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/norton-folgate-offices.md) - [Bespoke Furnished Industrial Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mother-london-office.md) - [Home-Inspired Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harella-house.md) - [Collaborative Bright Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spring-office-loft.md) - [Youthful-Inspired Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esalco-logistics.md) - [Converted Concrete Warehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerihu.md) - [Californian Modern Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/day-job.md) - [Modern Deco Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/newgen.md) - [Industrial Warehouse-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carr.md)
