In a blast of [fire and smoke](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velocity-lapse), firearms unleash deadly bullets that fly through the air too quickly to be discerned by the naked eye. In fact, people are probably not even aware that such a display even occurs. Thanks to Herra Kuulapaa, now they are. As much as the images making up what Herra Kuulapaa has labelled his, '[High Speed Ballistics Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leica-cameras)' series, are impressive in sight, he does caution people's use of such weapons. He writes, "It also emphasizes the importance of [firearm safety](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandy-hook-promise) so please keep your eyes open on what really happens during the moment when gun fires and listen to our warnings." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.1/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **High-speed Ballistics Photography:** Opportunity for photographers to capture the power and speed of firearms in a visually stunning way. - **Firearm Safety Education:** Opportunity to raise awareness about firearm safety through the powerful imagery captured in high-speed ballistics photography. - **Visualizing the Unseen:** Opportunity to use high-speed ballistics photography to reveal moments and details that are normally invisible to the naked eye. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Opportunity for photographers to showcase their technical skills and creativity in capturing high-speed ballistics. - **Firearm Manufacturing:** Opportunity for firearm manufacturers to use high-speed ballistics photography as a marketing tool to highlight the power and precision of their products. - **Safety and Training:** Opportunity for companies and organizations involved in firearm safety and training to incorporate high-speed ballistics photography as a visual aid in their educational materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Range-Roving Sniper Scopes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sniper-scope.md) - [Journalist-Focused Short Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-shooting.md) - [Ultra-Fast Multi-Frame Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scarf-1.md) - [Americana Subculture-Themed Art Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bullet-proof.md) - [Explosion-Damaged Sculpture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-into-darkness.md) - [Shooting Target Wall Clocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clockwerk-target-clocks.md) - [Raw Sports Emotion Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/game-exhibition.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Pen Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-flash.md) - [40FPS Mirrorless Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xh2s.md)
