# Stained Glass Superheroes (UPDATE) Mclanesmemories' 3D Hero Lamps are Crafted with Stained Glass By Kyle Towers | Published 2013-03-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero-lamps References: [obviouswinner](http://www.obviouswinner.com/obvwin/2013/3/27/this-boba-fett-stained-glass-is-perfect-for-the-church-of-ma.html) & [mclanesmemories.deviantart](http://mclanesmemories.deviantart.com/) Mclanesmemories from deviantART has crafted these wonderful hero lamps with stained glass. The art of stained glass is a difficult process, which is why it is so impressive the artist was able to keep each hero's 3D form intact. Each hero's head possesses a number of tricky manoeuvers that the artist was able to account for. I really enjoy the way the light shines through each work. It really brings each character to life. The characters included in these works are Master Chief, Ironman and Boba Fett. I look forward to his next batch of hero lamps. These lamps are the perfect nightlight -- they'll keep you safe from things that keep you from falling into a peaceful sleep. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 17% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Stained Glass Art:** The use of stained glass in art and design presents an opportunity for innovative artists to create unique, visually stunning, and functional products that can be used across multiple industries - **3D Printing and Stained Glass:** Combined 3D printing and stained glass techniques will provide more flexibility in creating unique, customized and complex products in the art and design industry - **Sustainable Art and Design:** The use of sustainable materials for stained glass art and design presents an opportunity for artists and designers to produce eco-friendly products that cater to a growing market demand for sustainability ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor Industry:** Stained glass superhero lamps present an opportunity for the home decor industry to offer unique and functional products through collaborations with innovative artists - **Lighting Industry:** The stained glass superhero lamps offer the lighting industry an opportunity to collaborate with artists to create unique and visually stunning lighting products - **Art and Design Industry:** The use of stained glass in art and design presents an opportunity for industry players to integrate traditional techniques with modern technologies and sustainable materials to offer innovative products ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Antique-Style Building Block Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ideas-led-lamp.md) - [Superhero-Themed Block Pen Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-lord-helmet.md) - [3D Superhero Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazing-spiderman-set.md) - [Futuristic Totemic Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-relics.md) - [Animation-Inspired LED Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animationinspired-led-lamp.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Dynamic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacetime-transformation-lamp.md) - [Superhero-Themed DIY Art Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jim-lee-batman.md) - [Buildable 3D Superhero Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gotham-city-skyline-set.md) - [Sporty Wall-Mounted Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3dprinted-lamp-1.md)
