Of course, not everyone can stand for spans of eight hours or more, so the desk actually offers three different positions that offer healthier work positions. The Herman Miller Envelop desk is [electrically height adjustable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adjustableheight-workstation) so that you can switch from [standing to sitting positions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vision-chair) in a cinch. Priced at $3,000, I'm sure it'll be a while until we see these in offices. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Motorized Office Desks:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop affordable motorized office desks for widespread adoption in workplaces to promote healthier work positions. ### Where This Applies - **Ergonomic Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create innovative ergonomic furniture solutions, including motorized office desks, to cater to the growing demand for healthier work environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Motorized Cable-Hiding Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steno-sitandstand-work-desk.md) - [Adjustable Modern Work Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spout.md) - [Ergonomic Standing Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergonomic-standing-desks.md) - [Electric Standing Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergear-electric-standing-desk.md) - [Adjustable Laptop Desk Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sitstand-desk1.md) - [Floor-Sit Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uppeal-desk-lshaped.md) - [Tech-Packed Standing Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexispot-comhar-pro-q8.md) - [Lifestyle-Focused Ergonomic Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/longevity-height-adjustable-desk.md) - [Gesture Control Smart Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autonomous-smartdesk-levitate.md)
