This initiative started with just a few people and has since grown to more than 500 members. Running from January to September, those that pay a fee of $150 will be contributing to supporting one heritage or vintage chicken, helping farmers preserve the breed. In exchange, members will receive [a dozen eggs every two weeks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chuckle-eggs-range), serving as a reminder of the important cause they're supporting.
