People fry chicken, vegetables and sometimes even chocolate bars, but nothing quite like this collection of [deep fried electronics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/looks-delicious) by Henry Hargreaves.

Hargreaves is a Brooklyn-based photographer who teamed up with Cailtin Levin, a food stylist, to create a series of greasy fried gadgets that range from [Macbooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touch-grass-collection) to iPods to [iPads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/iframix-smart-frame). The dishes are presented as food with utensils. Although these will be hard to swallow, let alone taste, these deep-fried gadgets put viewers in awe.

This project is odd and fun-poking, but it can also resemble the actions of consumers. Once a toy is considered old, it's disposed of and customers line up at retail stores for something new. Henry Hargreaves takes a step into unravelling the issues surrounding consumerist culture with this photographic series.
