# Water Catch-Integrated Planters NECKTIE Designs the hemisphere Planter with a Water Catch By Amy Duong | Published 2025-06-11 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hemisphere References: [necktie.tokyo](https://necktie.tokyo/about.html) & [necktie-shop.tokyo](https://necktie-shop.tokyo/category/select/pid/8785/language/en/currency/JPY) Japanese imprint NECKTIE has just unveiled its new [hemisphere planter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilt-planter). The smart design integrates a water catch in the silhouette with an elegantly weightless visual. The hemisphere is a smart solution that is backed by a smart hardware to elevate the plant experience at home. The planter is a solid wooden design that looks like it is floating due to its three thin strings. This adds a seamless [hanging option](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holocene-house) with intersections and the wooden bowl is connected with a classic wooden dowel. This creates a subtle contrast when it comes to retaining its clean curvilinear shape. The water catch is inserted to the bottom to allow extra water to drain and keep plants healthy.
