# Fantasy Fighter Cartoon Statues The He-Man Sculpture is a Custom Handmade Childhood Throwback By Trenton Millar | Published 2012-09-17 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heman-sculpture References: [obviouswinner](http://www.obviouswinner.com/obvwin/2012/9/14/check-this-utterly-badass-custom-he-man-sculpture.html) & [edgepang.deviantart](http://edgepang.deviantart.com/gallery/) This custom He-Man sculpture is an incredibly detailed replica of the title character from the kid's television show He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. My mom tells me that I used to watch this show as a kid, but all I remember is He-Man yelling "By the power of Grayskull" before he battled against Skeletor. The He-Man sculpture was created by EDGEPANG. It is a 1:4 scale mixed media sculpture that was made entirely by hand. EDGEPANG did such a great job of this sculpture that it seems to be more realistic than the cartoon version of He-Man. For fans of the old television show, the He-Man sculpture would make an excellent addition to a memorabilia collection. Would it be a little geeky too? Yes, but who cares? He-Man is awesome. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Custom Cartoon Sculptures:** Opportunity for artists to create highly detailed and realistic custom sculptures of beloved cartoon characters that cater to nostalgic collectors. - **Memorabilia Collection Revival:** Opportunity to tap into the growing market of nostalgic collectors by offering unique and high-quality memorabilia items from popular television shows and movies. - **Handmade Artistry:** Opportunity for artists to showcase their craftsmanship by creating handmade sculptures that capture the essence of beloved cartoon characters. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Collectibles:** Disruptive innovation opportunities exist for artists and creators who can offer unique and high-quality sculptures and memorabilia items to nostalgic collectors. - **Entertainment and Media:** Opportunity to revive and monetize popular television shows and movies by partnering with artists and creators to offer customized memorabilia items. - **Crafts and Handmade Goods:** Opportunity for artisans to tap into the market of nostalgia and offer handcrafted sculptures and memorabilia items that cater to collectors seeking unique and personalized pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi Show Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yusuke-hanai-1.md) - [Cartoon Superhero Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crimson-hawk-ranger.md) - [Hand-Knit Sci-Fi Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/handknit-scifi-sculpture.md) - [Show Collectible Figure Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yusuke-hanai-11.md) - [Collectible Pop Culture-Referencing Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/san-diego-comiccon.md) - [Cartoon-Focused Toy Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zord-ascension-project.md) - [Gaming-Inspired Anime Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gaminginspired-anime-figures.md) - [Selfie-Based Action Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formlabs.md) - [Pixelated Action Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minecraft-legends-portal.md)
