KoldRush is a System That Cools Cyclists By Dripping Water Onto Their Heads

The KoldRush helmet cooling system has taken the principle of [cooling your body with water](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cold-water-immersion-system) and incorporated it into helmets. KoldRush uses a 24-ounce seat-mounted water reservoir along with an [internal pump](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bottle-bottle) to drive the water up through a tube spraying your head with a refreshing pre-set amount of cold water. KoldRush is powered by eight AA batteries and the total system weighs 7.5 ounces.

To get a nice drench of cold water, all you need to do is press a button located on your handlebars. A concern of the product might be having an accident while your head is connected to the seat post. Inventor Scott Powers thought of this, and designed the [tube release system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canyon-deflectr-rls-helmet) to activate when minimal upward pressure is applied.
