The timber specialist studio took 365 new wooden sleighs (one for every day of the year) and stacked them into an enormous cone to represent the familiar Western symbol of Christmas. There are no leaves, of course, yet the lumber skeleton is a natural sub-in for a beautiful branching monument. What people are uniquely afforded too is the possibility of walking inside. Look up into the pointed peak of the Hello Wood Christmas Tree to behold a complex trussed framework that looks like a striking star or a snowflake. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 52% | Activity: 98% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sustainable Christmas Decor:** The use of reclaimed materials, like wooden sleighs, in Christmas tree designs presents an opportunity for eco-friendly holiday decorations. - **Interactive Holiday Installations:** Designing Christmas trees that allow visitors to walk inside and explore offers a new way to engage with the festive spirit. - **Alternative Tree Structures:** Creating Christmas tree designs that deviate from the traditional evergreen shape introduces a fresh take on holiday decor. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can explore innovative ways to incorporate sustainable and interactive holiday installations into their projects. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can offer unique and memorable experiences by incorporating alternative tree structures into their holiday event designs. - **Sustainable Materials:** Companies specializing in sustainable materials can collaborate with designers to create eco-friendly Christmas tree alternatives. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cutout Christmas Tree Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/christmas-tree-display.md) - [Plastic Bottle-Made Christmas Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caroline-chaptini.md) - [Illuminated Christmas Tree Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-lit-up.md) - [Festive Rooftop Parking Spots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parking-space-for-santa.md) - [Pop-Up Holiday Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/one-minute-christmas-trees.md) - [CLT Sunken Hungarian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clt-house.md) - [Contemporary Conservationist Treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sylvascope-treehouse.md) - [Neon Illuminated Christmas Trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluorescence.md) - [Festive Bamboo Tissues Papers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stackatree.md)
