Architecture's [Hello House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clt-house) is a modern home that greets visitors with its artfully constructed facade. The brick building boasts a rectangular shape and is accented with a typographic side wall that spells out the word 'Hello'. Melbourne based design studio OOF! Architecture's latest project may feature a traditional interior--a streamlined shop space that is accented with wood veneer and metal finishes--but its exterior facade is the opposite of expected. The typographic building is cheerful and optimistic, greeting strangers and visitors who pass by its walls. Hello House is a seemingly minimalist architecture piece that is made monumental with the help of some [intricate brick work](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-1). The artful building is accented with a [full glass wall](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-brick-house) that adorns its store front and white bricks that spell out its iconic greeting. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 43% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Typographic Facades:** Incorporating typography into building facades for a more artistic and personalized touch. - **Artful Brickwork:** Using intricate brickwork to add depth and character to building exteriors. - **Minimalist Monumentalism:** Creating grandiose buildings with simple, understated designs and carefully placed accents. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** Designing buildings that use typography and intricate brickwork in innovative ways to create visually striking and memorable exteriors. - **Commercial Real Estate:** Developing commercial properties with minimalist designs and attention-grabbing facades to attract customers and stand out from competitors. - **Graphic Design:** Collaborating with architects to create typographic facades and visually interesting brickwork designs, advancing the field of architectural graphic design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric Red-Brick Suburban Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ofis-arhitekti.md) - [Contemporary Weatherized Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acute-house.md) - [Brutalist Suburban Family Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/south-yarra-house.md) - [Geometric Colorful Residential Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphic-house.md) - [Personality-Reflecting Brick Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-cantellano.md) - [Sculptural Facade Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fractal-facade-house.md) - [Compact Calming Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-sheltered-space.md) - [Textured Brick London Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nw10.md) - [Steel Facade-Wrapped Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bomun-house.md)
