The Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System is a unit with an internal heat chamber that [warms liquids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yoomi-solace) between 143º F and 150º F in 30 seconds. It operates via car battery, but don't worry, Hammacher and Schlemmer says that it only draws "only 2 Amps-less than 1% of a typical car battery." This will help defrost the windows more efficiently and free up the [windshield wipers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nextgeneration-auto-care) from ice. With winter freezing over, having the Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System handy is a much better alternative than scraping ice outside in the bitter cold. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 42% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System:** The Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System offers a disruptive innovation opportunity by providing a more efficient and convenient way to defrost car windows. - **Internal Heat Chamber:** The incorporation of an internal heat chamber in the Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in car heating technology. - **Efficient Winter Solutions:** The demand for efficient winter solutions like the Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the automotive industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Automotive:** The automotive industry can explore disruptive innovation opportunities by integrating the Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System into their vehicles. - **Technology:** The integration of the Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System's internal heat chamber presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the technology industry. - **Home Improvement:** The Heated Windshield Washer Fluid System's innovation can inspire disruptive advancements in home improvement products for winter weather. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aftermarket Windshield Wipers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/geckowiper.md) - [Salt-Infused Roadway Asphalts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/asphalt-additive.md) - [Thermoregulating Car Cloaks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/car-cloak.md) - [Plasma-Powered Food Defrosters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayuso-quick-defrosting-box.md) - [Self-Cleaning Touchscreen Dashboards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfcleaning-system.md) - [In-Car Cupholder Upgrades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coolper.md) - [Water-Filled Mattress Heaters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-heated-mattress-pad.md) - [Windshield Protection Brands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/windshield-protection.md) - [Water-Free Car Wash Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/car-wash-kit.md)
