This is part of its [annual showcase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiptoe-10-years) for NYCxDesign, making this its fifth. It takes place at a Soho loft against a wood floor and white walls for a minimal background. Some of the designs are high-tech and others embody a more playful theme, some rest in between. Head Hi co-founder Alexandra Hodkowski explains that the designers submit their work various years in a row, garnering a lot of interest because it can track the diverse aesthetic and technological advances. "Each year there's a lot of changes in materials or technology and it's really interesting to follow them long term." Co-founder Alvaro Alcocer adds, "The importance of the lamb show is that the main objective is the creation of this object rather than the commercialization."
