The company was founded by dog walker turned entrepreneur Bonnie Ropka, who was frustrated with the amount of feces she saw on a regular basis from unprepared dog walkers. The Helping Paw is an eye-catching station that features a small house atop it, a wooden bone on the front with the words "Good Dog" engraved, a wooden roof, and a black [paw print on both sides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pawprint-door-mat). The lawn decor can be placed on lawns, backyards, or common areas/parks to give a helping hand when pet owners require it. The Helping Paw comes with branded [dog poop bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biobased-poop-bags) and can be refilled with other bags. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 11% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Business](https://www.trendhunter.com/business) > [New Ventures](https://www.trendhunter.com/newventures) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Portable Dog Poop Scooping Bags:** Opportunity for companies to create innovative and convenient solutions for pet waste management. - **Eye-catching Lawn Decor:** Potential for businesses to design and produce creative lawn decor items that serve practical purposes. - **Refillable Dog Poop Bag Stations:** Room for organizations to develop sustainable and eco-friendly refillable dog waste bag solutions. ### Who This Affects Most - **Pet Waste Management:** Chance for companies to disrupt the pet waste management industry with innovative products and services. - **Lawn Decor:** Opportunity for businesses to tap into the lawn decor industry by combining aesthetics with functionality. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Potential for organizations to contribute to the eco-friendly products industry by creating sustainable dog waste bag solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Biodegradable Pet Urns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paw-pods-1.md) - [Artful Elevated Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doggy-bathroom-1.md) - [Luxury Gut Health Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pooch-pendant.md) - [Tropical-Scented Dog Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peach-lotus-scented-poop-bags.md) - [Clean Dog Grooming Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grooming-products-for-dogs.md) - [Supportive Senior Pet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steady-walking-aid-for-dogs.md) - [Biobased Dog Poop Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biobased-poop-bags.md) - [Pooch-Pampering Grooming Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sniffle-likkit-inn-the-dog-house.md) - [Stylish Pet Pads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pupiboo.md)
