The product features 25 windows in all that each reveal a bag of [Haribo candies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haribo-partnerships) that can be retrieved upon a holiday mishap occurring. This could include accidentally setting off the smoke alarm with holiday cooking, breaking a Christmas ornament, running out of room in the fridge and much more. The product builds on the popularity of Advent calendars and gets adults involved in the tradition. A spokesperson for the brand spoke further on the Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo saying, "It may look like your standard advent calendar, but there’s a playful twist. Instead of chocolate, behind each of the 25 windows is a delicious mini bag of Haribo sweets. And, when mishap happens, just shout Bingo and open the matching window on the box and reward yourself with a minipack of Haribo.” ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 19% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Interactive Advent Calendars:** The Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo introduces a playful twist to the traditional advent calendar, making it more interactive and engaging for the whole family. - **Alternative Holiday Tradition:** The Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo provides a new and fun way for families to celebrate the holiday season, moving away from the conventional advent calendar. - **Incorporating Mishaps Into the Holiday Spirit:** The Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo adds an element of humor and lightheartedness to the holiday season, embracing the occasional mishaps that can happen. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Confectionery:** The Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo taps into the confectionery industry by offering mini bags of Haribo sweets, combining the enjoyment of advent calendars with delicious treats. - **Games and Toys:** The Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo bridges the gap between advent calendars and games, creating a new product category that appeals to both kids and adults. - **Seasonal Decorations:** The Haribo Christmas Mishap Bingo presents a unique and festive way to incorporate interactive elements into traditional seasonal decorations, sparking creativity and excitement. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Collaborative Candy Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cadbury-dairy-milk-biscoff-advent-calendar.md) - [Festive Gummy Candy Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haribo-holiday-collection.md) - [Battery-Packed Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logik-aadvent-calendar.md) - [Retro Candy Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candy-advent-calendars.md) - [Game-Building Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electronic-games-advent-calendar.md) - [Adult-Friendly Chocolate Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/assorted-truffles-advent-calendar.md) - [Vegan-Friendly Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/happi-advent-calendar.md) - [Instant Noodle Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instant-noodle-advent-calendar.md) - [Spice Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spice-advent-calendars.md)
