Designed by David Chavez, this textured time-teller concept includes an [embossed plate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sakshar-braille) from which the blind can literally read the hour. The Haptica Braille Watch is counting on pledges from the public with the aim to raise enough money to begin production. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 99% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Accessible Wearables:** Opportunity to develop more inclusive wearable technology - **Tactile Interfaces:** Potential for innovation in haptic feedback interfaces - **Assistive Timekeeping:** Advancements in assistive technology for timekeeping ### Sectors Adopting This - **Wearable Technology:** Opportunity for wearable tech companies to develop accessible products - **Assistive Technology:** Increasing market for assistive technology products for the visually impaired - **Consumer Electronics:** Incorporation of haptic feedback interfaces into consumer electronic devices ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Meditative Vibrating Timepieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stund-watch.md) - [Braille-Equipped Memo Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/memo-device.md) - [Inclusive Label Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braille-label-maker.md) - [Haptic Navigation Wristbands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haptic-navigation-wristband.md) - [Engaging Braille Education Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/braille-learning-device.md) - [Half-Hour Timepiece Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arrowatch.md) - [Minimal Braille Learning Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartio-edu.md) - [Unique Timekeeping Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unique-timekeeping-device.md) - [Accessible Home Device Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/accessble-home-device.md)
