This is a clever example of transforming a popular pop culture reference into an edible treat. Falcon Toys recreated this parody Pop Art that mimics the [popular Pop-Tarts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poptarts-protein) in aesthetic with a thin vanilla pastry filled with strawberry jam topped with sprinkled white icing. However, these Pop Arts feature a moulding of Han-Solo trapped and frozen in time inside the icing. The detailed depiction of Han-Solo is remarkably realistic capturing every detail from his horrified expression down to the folds in his costume. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.8/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Pop-culture Edibles:** There is an opportunity to create edible treats that incorporate popular pop culture references, appealing to fans and creating a unique selling point. - **Miniature Food Art:** Miniature food art offers a creative way to showcase intricate details and create realistic representations of beloved characters, enhancing the overall visual appeal of the food item. - **Nostalgic Food Products:** Integrating nostalgic elements into food products, such as recreating iconic scenes from popular movies, can evoke feelings of nostalgia in consumers and create a sense of connection with the product. ### Who This Affects Most - **Food and Beverage:** The food and beverage industry can explore new product offerings that merge pop culture references with edible treats, attracting a diverse customer base. - **Art and Design:** The art and design industry can leverage miniature food art as a unique form of artistic expression, bridging the gap between food and art. - **Entertainment Merchandise:** The entertainment merchandise industry can develop and market food products that incorporate iconic scenes and characters from popular movies, expanding their product range and tapping into new markets. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi-Themed Donut Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinkbox-doughnuts-star-wars-day.md) - [Sci-Fi Film-Themed Cereals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obiwan-kenobi-cereal.md) - [Chocolate-Filled Breakfast Pastries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-tarts-1.md) - [Cinnamon Roll Breakfast Pastries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frosted-cinnamon-roll-poptarts.md) - [Oversized Party-Ready Pastries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poptarts-party-pastry.md) - [Winter Weather Breakfast Pastries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poptarts-frosted-marshmallow-hot-cocoa.md) - [Collaboration Sci-Fi Cookies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-oreo-cookies.md) - [Frozen Toaster Pastry Sandwiches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poptart-ice-cream-sandwiches.md) - [Toaster Pastry-Inspired Donuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/krispy-kreme-and-poptart.md)
