# Nature-Inspired Resorts The Hansar Samui in Bophut Bay, Thailand is Simply Paradise By Tiana Reid | Published 2010-08-09 | World Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hansar-samui References: [luxist](http://www.luxist.com/2010/08/08/hansar-samui-boutique-resort-opens-in-koh-samui-thailand/) & [hansarsamui](http://www.hansarsamui.com/) Located in Bophut Bay on Koh Samui island in Thailand, the Hansar Samui is a 74-room resort with breathtaking oceanfront views and luxurious spa treatments. According do the Hansar Samui Resort, this retreat is "where nature meets paradise." Indeed, the interior design has a natural feel, with wooden floors and stone basins. Each room has its own balcony and a guaranteed sea view. What vacation spot could be better than that? **Implications** - I'd be most excited to visit the pools at the Hansar Samui Resort, as they seem to reach on forever being located so close to the beach waters. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.3/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 89% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nature-inspired Resorts:** Opportunity for creating resorts that incorporate natural elements and offer breathtaking views. - **Luxurious Spa Treatments:** Opportunity to develop high-end spa treatments that enhance relaxation and rejuvenation. - **Oceanfront Views:** Opportunity to design resorts that offer guaranteed sea views and create a sense of tranquility. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** Opportunity for hotels and resorts to embrace nature-inspired designs and provide unique experiences. - **Wellness:** Opportunity for the wellness industry to create luxurious spa treatments and services that promote relaxation and self-care. - **Travel and Tourism:** Opportunity to promote destinations with oceanfront views and emphasize the beauty of nature in travel experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tranquil Thai Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zemi-beach-house.md) - [Tranquil Island Wellness Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sanya-wellness-retreat.md) - [Floating Eco-Tourist Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/turtle-bay.md) - [Bali-Inspired European Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manon-les-suites.md) - [Seaside Resort Spas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oceanstone-resort.md) - [Glamorous Resort Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/raffles-sentosa-singapore.md) - [Nature-Inspired Poolside Homestay](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miyue-blue-and-white-island-pool-homestay.md) - [Whimsical Tranquil Holiday Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-bunch-palms.md) - [Ultra-Luxe Overwater Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-private-reserve.md)
