The Marie Claire Netherlands editorial put on by Hans Van Brakel is set to be featured in the magazine's June 2015 issue. Model Charlotte Nolting is central to the production that placed her in front of empty fields and a dirt road.
Stylist Simone Dernee matched the abandoned nature of this Marie Claire Netherlands production with desert-appropriate apparel. This came of a colorful patterned top, a striped skirt and a red wrap dress.
While some of the apparel displayed was evidently functional, Dernee added opulent, over the top pieces with chunky strap heels, thick gold jewelry and knee-high socks. These items could easily be worn in chic urban settings or abandoned sets just like this one, adding a sense of versatility to Dernee's collection.
