The unique pop-up bar was created by a mattress start-up company from Amsterdam, Matt, and provides comfortable beds for people to lie down on, [healthy juices and smoothies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nashi-pear-juice) to drink, a [hangover-curing menu](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hangover-breakfast-burger) specifically created by Foodora, as well as an on-site bar that offers pure "oxygen shots" that can be inhaled. To get into the exclusive Matt Hangover Bar, which is being described as a green oasis, there is a catch—those who want to enter must pass the "hangover inspectors," who use breathalyzers on visitors in order to make sure that they still have alcohol in their system. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 90% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Marketing](https://www.trendhunter.com/marketing) > [Publicity Stunts](https://www.trendhunter.com/publicitystunts) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Restorative Hangover Bars:** Restorative hangover bars that offer beds and pure oxygen shots as remedies for hangovers. - **Health-focused Beverages for Hangover Relief:** A trend towards health-focused beverages like smoothies and juices for curing hangovers. - **Exclusive Hangover Experiences:** An exclusive and unique hangover experience with screening and admission via breathalyzers. ### Where This Applies - **Hospitality:** The creation of hangover bars presents an opportunity for bars and hotels to offer guests more restorative experiences. - **Food Delivery Services:** The collaboration with Foodora presents an opportunity for food delivery services to create specialized hangover menus with restorative properties. - **Bedding and Comfort:** The installation of comfortable beds in hangover bars creates an opportunity for companies that specialize in comfortable bedding or furniture to collaborate. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hangover-Fixing Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phofix.md) - [Revolutionary Anti-Hangover Pills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antihangover-pill.md) - [Hangover Recovery Gummies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hangover-recovery-gummies.md) - [Comforting Hangover-Helping Menus](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hangover-menu.md) - [All-Hours Functional Mixers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/day-night-drinks.md) - [Rapid Rehydration Packets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hydralyte-plus-liver-support.md) - [Rejuvenating Post-Social Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/replenishment-drink.md) - [Vegan Hangover Recovery Gummies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hangover-recovery-gummies1.md) - [Hangover-Helping QSR Meals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carls-jr-1.md)
