As with [Aarnio's Ball Chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chunk-doughnut-chair), the Hanging Bubble Chair is built with acoustics that make one feel isolated, despite being in a room with one or more persons. It is the perfect place to get away from it all, even in one's own home. The Hanging Bubble Chair by Eero Aarnio comes with [leather padding](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hidahida) or you can use different materials upon request, and a six-foot chain that attaches to the ceiling -- the perfect furnishing for easy vacuuming! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/luxury) > [Ultra Luxury](https://www.trendhunter.com/ultraluxury) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modern Hanging Furnishings:** Hanging bubble chairs and other modern hanging furnishings are becoming increasingly popular for those seeking a unique and functional way to decorate their homes. - **Acoustic Isolation:** Furnishings like the Hanging Bubble Chair are appealing to consumers seeking a way to easily create a quiet and isolated space within their homes. - **Versatile and Customizable Materials:** The Hanging Bubble Chair's use of leather padding and ability to be customized with different materials provides an opportunity for companies to explore new and unique material options. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturers can expand their product offerings by creating modern hanging furnishings such as the Hanging Bubble Chair. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers are incorporating modern hanging furnishings into their designs to create unique and functional spaces for their clients. - **Acoustic Technology:** Acoustic technology companies can partner with furniture manufacturers to create new products that offer improved acoustic isolation and comfort. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Radical Sculptural Art-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palla.md) - [Childhood-Informed Dome Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clodette-chair.md) - [Retro Modular Vibrant Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-chair-1.md) - [Fiberglass Mid-Century Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panton-chair.md) - [Quirky Postmodern Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ebba-armchair.md) - [Tech-Infused Egg Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arne-jacobsen.md) - [Modern Seating Centerpieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-chair.md) - [Ultra-Comfy Seating Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cushy-lounge-chair.md) - [Contemporary Rocking Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/penguin-rocking-chair.md)
