The extension keeps the focus reader-friendly with [hanging book lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-lighting-installation). The illumination includes several naked bulbs attached to a few hardcover books and chords that extend from the ceiling. No word on whether the hanging booklights use original volumes or lighter reproductions or if they can be purchased. **Implications** - This fascinating fixture will inspire you to use your imagination, just as books do. Literary-lovers will adore this illuminating light installment which would be ideal for stores, offices and even schools. Live happily ever after with a literary light. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 87% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Hanging Lights Design Trend:** The use of creative and unconventional hanging lights for interior design will continue to gain popularity as a form of artistic expression in different spaces. - **Innovative Lighting Fixtures in Bookstores:** Bookstores and libraries will explore the use of unique and impressive lighting fixture designs to create a more enticing atmosphere for their customers. - **Repurposing for Aesthetic Purposes:** Repurposing common everyday items such as books as decorative and artistic elements will continue to be a trend due to its eco-friendly and cost-effective nature. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Interior Design firms will capitalize on this trend, by offering innovative lighting fixtures as part of their concepts that uniquely blend practicality with aesthetics. - **Bookstores and Libraries:** The trend will encourage bookstores and libraries to explore different lighting fixtures designs to appeal to the customer's desire for an extraordinary and immersive experience. - **Artistic Lighting Manufacturing:** Artistic light manufacturing companies will gain leverage as their designs will continue to be appreciated as works of art and a way to transform common spaces into unique and inviting environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Convenient Book Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/android-book-light.md) - [Industrial Light-Equipped Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hidden-light-chair.md) - [Chic Saucer-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-in-tight-light-fixture.md) - [Outlet-Equipped Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant-lamp.md) - [Sleek Contemporary Metal-Encased Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/library-lamp.md) - [Revolving Bright Kinetic Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/library-of-light.md) - [Industrial Contemporary Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shop-light.md) - [Floating Wetland Bookstore](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xixi-goldmye-bookstore.md) - [Mobile Illuminating Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/for-a-fleeting-moment.md)
