It is perfect for people living in [small spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spaceefficient-drying) who need to maximize every inch of space that they can. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Multipurpose Storage Solutions:** Companies can explore the integration of two or more storage functions in their product offerings, making them more useful to consumers. - **Sustainable Closet Organization:** Products that enable consumers to organize and store clothes in an eco-friendly, efficient and space-saving manner are a promising innovation opportunity. - **Smart Closet Accessories:** There is an opportunity for companies to add smart functionality to closet accessories to help with organization, tracking, and managing of wardrobe items. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Organization and Storage:** Home organization companies can tap into the demand for innovative solutions to help people optimize and manage their living spaces. - **Sustainable Home Goods:** Manufacturers of eco-friendly products, especially those that help with storage and organization, have the potential to create a niche market and stand out. - **Smart Home Accessories:** Companies in the smart home industry can expand their product lines to include accessories that help with closet organization, inventory management, and storage optimization. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Expanding Garment Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-hanger.md) - [Quirky Structural Clothes Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hang-we.md) - [Storage-Conscious Clothing Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coat-hingers.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Fragrance-Defusing Hanger Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ploud-hanger.md) - [Geometrically Shaped Hanger Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triangle-hanger.md) - [Recycled Hotel Clothing Hangers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paperform-hanger.md) - [Demure Dual-Compartment Laundry Hampers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joseph-joseph-tota.md) - [In-Car Coat Hanger Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multi-hanger.md)
